This section explains how to upload a board on Surf Neutral. There are two ways to register a board

1. Upload a board directly

2. Upload a board on the factory page

You can upload any board to your profile as there is no requirement to have a QR code. However, the QR code lets your board do the talking when scanned.

Upload a board Directly

When a shaper does not want to make use of the Surf Neutral factory section, he can upload his boards quickly through the 'Add Boards' page

Complete step 1 to 4 as described in THIS section.

5. Now press 'Register Board'

The 'register board' page will pop up now

Register a board on the factory page

Go to the factory page and search for the board that needs to be uploaded. Press the 'View' button to view the order and press 'Upload' on the order form

The Upload Board page will now open:

A question will be asked if the board has one of your laminated QR codes. If not then step 1 below can be ignored. Follow step 2-4.

1. Pressing the 'Add Board Code' button will open our on board scan tool.

Hover over the boards QR code so the code can be accepted. Once the code was recognized the scan tool will close automatically and the QR code will be visible on the register board page.

If the code could not be scanned we do have a fall back function where a clear image of the code can be uploaded. Surf Neutral will analyse the image and close the window when done.

2. Upload pictures of the surfboard. Press the square box with the full line to upload the main picture for the surf board. It is always needed to upload the first picture else a board cannot be registered.

3. Upload a movie of the shaping process, paste a youtube or vimeo link to embed the movie on the board.

4. Type a board story, Why did you make this board? This is the first story of the board that will be registered and view able once the board blog is on line.

5. Add a surfer to the board. Search for the surfers username or add his email address.

When a surfer is added to the board the transfer process is initiated by Surf Neutral.

- The surfer gets an invitation to accept the board transfer via email

6. Press 'Register Board' to upload the board to Surf Neutral. Once the board is uploaded a message will be presented that the board was uploaded to the platform.
