Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of protection used to ensure the security of online accounts beyond just a username and password.
To enable 2FA, you need to go to your profile by pressing the profile logo on the navigation bar.
As shaper on desktop:
Under the account tab, you can enable your Two Factor Authentication.
Press the Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
Now you have three options to do your verification.
- Via a token: You will receive a QR that can be scanned by your smartphone using your authenticator app like Authy, google authenticator,...
Fill in the token received on the app.
- With a phone call: Fill in your Phone number to receive a phone call with an authentication code.
- With an SMS message: Fill in your Phone number to receive an SMS with an authentication code
Enter the received code, and you are good to go.
