Intro
Surf Neutral offers the shapers a private space where they can configure surfboards they need to make. In this section we are explaining the process to add an order to the factory page. Or configure the board for registration.

Steps to follow
1. Sign Up as a shaper or Log In using your shaper account.
2. (Optional) Configure your surfboard model to speed up the Add board process. To configure your surfboard model you can follow the steps as described in this section (Create a Model)
3. Press the 'Add Board' Icon on your dashboard
4. The 'Add Board' page will open and you can now start configuring the surfboard.
All items on the page are with drop down boxes for easy select.
Boxes Explained:
OBLIGATORY
SELECT MODEL: This is where you can select a pre-defined model (step 2), If you do not have any models you can just select the 'Custom' Model. A custom model has all the values to choose from. In the case you select a pre-defined model then Surf Neutral will auto-complete all the single values for that model so you are speeding up the Add board process.
Select one value which is valid for your surfboard order in the following drop down areas (Fields auto completed when having single values on created models):
- Technology / Construction: (PU, EPS,...)
- Model Type (shortboard, mid, long,...)
- Board Length
- Board Width
- Board Thickness
- Tail Type
- Fin Setup
- Fin System
BOARD SPECIFIC
- Board design
- Glassing Fabric
- Resin Type

OPTIONAL
- Manufacturing remarks: These are remarks from/for a customer. These remarks will show up on the order form and can be viewed during the shaping process.
- Add Rider: Here you can search for a surfers user name on surf neutral. The surfer will receive an email when the order was added to the factory. In the case a surfer does not has a username on Surf Neutral we can transfer the board to him/her once the board is registered.
5. Press the button 'Add To Factory' when all the values are completed
You will get a new pop up stating:
5.1 Pressing the button 'Go To Factory': This will direct you to the factory page where you can view all your outstanding orders.
5.2 Pressing the button 'Add A New Board' will close the pop up and clear the 'Add board' page for you to add another order to the factory.
6. Press the button 'Register Board' to skip the factory and start the upload process. More about the upload process here.
